Product Warranty

What's Covered

Mighty Turf warrants that its products, under normal use and installation consistent with published Mighty Turf installation specifications, will be free from the following manufacturing defects during the warranty period:

• Premature fiber degradation or breakdown beyond normal wear expectations.
• Excessive color fade from UV exposure beyond product specification.
• Separation or delamination of primary or secondary backing.
• Failure of backing system under normal drainage and use conditions.
• Material defects in workmanship at the time of manufacture.

What's Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

• Improper installation — including installation not performed in accordance with published Mighty Turf installation specifications, inadequate base preparation, incorrect infill application, or improper seaming.
• Mechanical damage — including cuts, tears, burns, punctures, or damage from sharp objects, lawn equipment, vehicles, or animals.
• Chemical damage — including damage from pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, solvents, petroleum products, cleaning chemicals, or bodily fluids not cleaned promptly.
• Acts of nature — fire, flood, earthquake, extreme weather, or events beyond normal use.
• Vandalism, abuse, or misuse — including use outside the intended product application (for example, installing landscape turf in a high-impact sports application).
• Normal wear — including minor fiber matting in high-traffic areas, natural settling of infill, and cosmetic changes that do not affect structural integrity.
• Pre-existing site conditions — including poor drainage, contamination of the subgrade, or structural issues of the installation surface.

Installation Requirements

Warranty coverage is conditioned on installation being performed in accordance with published Mighty Turf installation specifications. Installation specifications are provided to Certified Installer partners and are available upon request to any purchaser. Installation performed by a Mighty Turf Certified Installer, including Monarch Landscape Design, is automatically deemed to satisfy this requirement.

DIY installation by an experienced contractor or handy homeowner is permitted and does not void coverage, provided installation follows the published specification. Improper installation voids manufacturing defect coverage.

Remedy

Mighty Turf's sole obligation under this warranty is, at its option, to repair or replace the defective product. The warranty covers material only. Labor, removal of existing turf, disposal, infill replacement, base rework, travel, and any other installation-related costs are not covered. Replacement product is warranted for the balance of the original warranty period.

The warranty is prorated. The value of a defective product claim decreases over the warranty period as follows: the first 50% of the warranty period carries 100% material replacement; the second 50% of the warranty period is prorated based on months remaining.

How to File a Claim

To submit a warranty claim:

• Contact Mighty Turf at info@mightyturfinc.com or (888) 9-MIGHTY within the warranty period.
• Provide proof of original purchase (invoice or trade account record).
• Provide product identification (product name, lot number, date of purchase).
• Describe the defect and include photographs.
• Permit inspection of the site by Mighty Turf or an authorized representative.

Claims must be reported within 30 days of the defect becoming apparent. Mighty Turf will respond to warranty claims within 30 days of receipt of complete claim documentation.

Transferability

This warranty is extended to the original purchaser and the original property owner at the installation site. The warranty is transferable to a subsequent property owner one time, subject to written notification to Mighty Turf within 60 days of property transfer and payment of any applicable transfer fee.

Exclusive Remedy; Limitation of Liability

This warranty is the sole warranty offered by Mighty Turf Inc. All other warranties, express or implied — including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose — are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by California law. Mighty Turf's total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the purchase price of the defective product. In no event shall Mighty Turf be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, loss of use, or job-site delay costs.

Workmanship Warranty

This warranty covers product only. Installation workmanship is covered separately by the installer. When installation is performed by a Mighty Turf Certified Installer (such as Monarch Landscape Design for Southern California), the installer provides an additional workmanship warranty covering seams, infill, base, and installation quality. Contact your installer directly for workmanship warranty terms.

Governing Law

This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Bernardino County, California.
